My design team’s process for HAMLET focused on highlighting the differences of generational wealth and mindsets- especially between Hamlet and Claudius \ Gertrude. We wanted to create a clear schism in personal style, with Hamlet having a rebellious-though clearly still affluent- grunge streak where his family and friends fully embrace their wealth..though with hidden guilt of their own. Grief, Guilt, Fear, and Mental Health were all diving points for our Hamlet’s world.
