Shakespeare’s Globe: Julius Caesar Coronet
Part of Rutger's study collaboration with Shakespeare’s Globe in London, I was tasked with creating a millinery piece based on a play of my choosing- Julius Caesar. The Roman style diadem features destroyed columns symbolizing Brutus’ fall from grace. The fifteen leaves refer to the date of Caesar’s execution and his last words have been carved above. Materials: Buckram- Staedtler Clay- Grey Acrylic Paint- White Acrylic Paint- Red Acrylic Paint- Red Gem Studs- Red Tube Beads- Silver Metallic Trim- Black Wool Gabardine
